For Mozee Alipanah · Mozee Gas Heating & Cooling

I built you a website. Nobody asked me to.

It is finished and it is live. The video is two and a half minutes in my own voice, walking you through it. After that there are three questions.

Open the website → Call me: (403) 870-2669 It is live right now. Open it on your phone, that is what it was built for.

Why would a stranger build you a website for nothing?

Fair question, and you should be asking it. Here is the plain answer.

I build these for companies I would like to work with. I pick one, I do the research, I build the thing properly, and then I send it.

I would rather show you what I can do than describe it to you on a cold call, because you have had plenty of those and so have I. It is the only honest way I know to show a stranger what I would actually do for him.

If this goes nowhere you keep the website and I have lost an afternoon. There is no catch in here for you to find.

Question one

When your phone rings and it turns into a job, what is that job worth to you?

$500$1,000$1,000+

Five hundred dollars. A thousand. More than that, on the right day.

I texted you these questions already.

Notice that you did not land on one number. A no heat call on a Sunday is one figure. A furnace in Hyde Park, where the houses went up in the last twenty years and the furnaces are coming up on fifteen, is another. A house in Old North with no ductwork is a third. Different jobs, different numbers.

Question two

When somebody in London needs that job done today, where are you?

A woman in London comes downstairs and the furnace is out. She picks up her phone and searches furnace repair London Ontario. That is the whole process now, and it takes her about four seconds.

This is what Google gave her when I ran that search this morning.

1Builders Choice Air Systems
2M & K Heating and Air Conditioning
3Hawana HVAC Solutions
and sixteen more, every one of them with a website
Mozee Gas Heating & Cooling — not on the page

Twenty two companies in total. You were not on it. Not third, not nineteenth. Not there at all.

It is not a work problem. It is a plumbing problem, in the literal sense. There is no pipe. Google has nowhere to send anybody.

She might never tap through to a website at all. She might read the reviews and press Call, and that is a perfectly good outcome, because a call is the job.

But the listing and the website hold each other up. The website is what tells Google the listing is real and what work actually sits behind it. Yours has no website attached, so the listing is carrying the whole thing on its own.

You would have done well in that comparison. Eleven people, 5.0, not one bad word. Most of those twenty two cannot say that.

Question three

Now put Mozee Gas on that page instead, and see what changes.

One jobTwo jobsThree or more

If that woman is searching and you are on the first page, are you more likely or less likely to get the call?

Nobody picks the first result every time. People read the reviews. They look at the photos. Some of them choose a company because they liked the look of it. You cannot control any of that, and you do not need to. What you need is to be on the page where the choosing happens, because a company that is not on it is not being chosen at all.

So do the arithmetic. What is a job worth? One extra job a month. One every two weeks. One a week. What is that worth to you over a year?

Now picture the end of next year. A couple more customers a month than you have today. A few of those tell a neighbour, because people do talk when a man turns up when he said he would and charges what he said he would. Those referrals cost you nothing and they arrive on their own.

Add the extra jobs to the referrals, then take away the quiet weeks you would otherwise have spent waiting for the phone. What does that year look like next to this one?

And it compounds. The phone rings a little more often. More people have heard the name. That is what consistent actually looks like: not one enormous month, but fewer quiet ones.

Let's do it

What I am offering, all of it, at one price
$297 / month + GST
  • The website you have already seen, live on your own name
  • Your Google listing set up properly and managed every month
  • Photos of your actual work posted to the listing
  • Every review answered, and new ones asked for
  • A monthly report in plain English. No contract, cancel any time
Got it. I will ring you on (519) 878-7776, usually the same day. If you would rather not wait, call me on (403) 870-2669.

What happens after you tap that

  1. I ring you the same day. Tapping the button tells me you are in. Nothing else happens until we have spoken. If I have got anything wrong about how you work, that is the call where you tell me.
  2. We register mozeegas.com in your name. It is unregistered today and costs about twelve dollars. It is registered to you, not to me.
  3. The website you have already seen goes live on it. Same site, your own address. That is the day the Website button appears on your listing, next to Call and Directions.
  4. I set up your Google listing properly and manage it every month. Photos of your actual jobs, not stock pictures. Every review answered. New reviews asked for from the customers you have just finished with.
  5. You get a report in plain English every month. What people searched, how many found you, how many rang. If a month was quiet, the report says so. Month to month, cancel any time, no setup fee.

What actually changes

You told me your work goes up and down. Busy stretches, then quiet ones, and the quiet ones are the ones that keep you up. That is the thing worth fixing, and it is not really a website problem.

Picture a Tuesday in February. Minus twenty. A woman in Hyde Park comes downstairs and the house is cold, and she does what everyone does now, which is pick up her phone rather than ask a neighbour.

She finds you. She rings you. She is not ringing two other companies as well, because yours came up and yours had eleven people saying you were excellent.

That conversation is happening today, several times a week, in kitchens all over London. It is just happening on somebody else's phone number.

That is the difference between work you chase and work that arrives. Not a busier year. A flatter one.

And on the money, so it is said plainly: two hundred and ninety seven dollars a month is less than you charge for an hour of your own time. It is one hour a month. If it brings you one extra job a year it has paid for itself, and if it brings you one a month you will wonder what took you so long.
